My first book, My Friend Sancho, was published in May 2009, and went on to become the biggest selling debut novel released that year in India. It is a contemporary love story set in Mumbai, and had earlier been longlisted for the Man Asian Literary Prize 2008. To learn more about the book, click here.

MadMan sends me a link to a Reason post about an incident in Chicago, and summarizes it for me:
Man is sitting in car with wife. Daughter is coming back to car. Undercover cop pretending to be prostitute comes to window and offers oral sex. Couple laugh it off. Cops swarm the car and arrest the man for solicitation. Charges are later dropped but his car is not returned till he pays a fine of $4700 for towing.
Surprised? Not me. Combine an effectively unaccountable police force with laws against victimless crimes, and such entrapment is inevitable. Remember the Matunga Racket?
