My first book, My Friend Sancho, was published in May 2009, and went on to become the biggest selling debut novel released that year in India. It is a contemporary love story set in Mumbai, and had earlier been longlisted for the Man Asian Literary Prize 2008. To learn more about the book, click here.

The quote of the day comes from John McCain, about Woodstock:
I wasn’t there… I was tied up at the time.
The context: McCain lambasting Hillary Clinton’s plans to spend US$1 million of taxpayers’ money on a Woodstock museum. You can watch it here.
And in the middle of a bizarre comment war on that YouTube page, I find the following quote from former NYC mayor John Hylan:
The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy legs over our cities, states and nation.
Sounds just like Cthulhu to me. Remember this?
