Tyler Cowen wants to send money to India

In his new book, Discover Your Inner Economist, Cowen suggests the following guidelines for helping other people:

1. Cash is often the best form of aid.

2. Give to those who are not expecting it, and,

3. Don’t require the recipients to do anything costly to get the money.

Cowen wants to put his money where his ideas are, and actually wants to send money to Indians based on these principles—and on merit. Who should he help? He wants suggestions? Help him out!
