Reader Arun John brings my attention, via email, to a news report dated December 22, 2007, with the headline “Again, foreign tourist goes missing in Agra”. The report contains the following WTF line:
Raj Kumar Sharma, officer in charge of Taj Ganj police station, said there was no news yet but he was confident Ogawa would eventually be “traced because he has to return on December 29 to catch his flight”.
I can’t find a follow-up to this piece online, and I’d dearly like to know if Mr Ogawa caught his flight. If he landed up just in time to catch it, I want Raj Kumar Sharma to get a Padma Shri for his marvellous reasoning.
