The Punjab government has sanctioned Rs 1 crore &#8220;to set up an ultra-modern facility to tame, train, rehabilitate and teach manners to rogue monkeys.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I agree that rogue monkeys are a problem&#8212;no Varun Gandhi jokes here, please&#8212;but I don&#8217;t see why so much of my taxes should go towards teaching them manners. What next, finishing schools for stray dogs? Reservations for all of them in government posts? <\/p>\n<p>That said, I wouldn&#8217;t have minded it if they&#8217;d started this school a couple of years ago.
