I should call it a novel-in-progress, actually. Authors were allowed to enter 10,000 words of their manuscript for the prize, and I made the longlist on the basis of my first three chapters. I need to submit my entire manuscript by August 1 to remain in contention for the prize, and I’m not quite done with it yet. Thus, for the next few days, I take a break from India Uncut. <\/p>\n

I know this will be hard, but the rewards will be reaped by you as well, so hang in there. Also, if you’re desperate for WTF entertainment, there’s Lok Sabha TV. They outdo Bollywood, they do—and it’s all for real.<\/p>\n
