Adil Najam has a hilarious post<\/a> here on something he saw recently in Islamabad. The Czech prime minister was due to visit, and to welcome him, the government’s PR people decided to put up a banner with the Czech flag and Pakistan’s flag together. Only, instead of the Czech flag, they put the checkered flag, as you can see in the image below.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Immensely typical of a subcontinental government.
